Roseville Pottery Apple Blossom Pillow Vase #390-12, Blue, Ca. 1949

Introduced in 1949, this late period floral line features naturalistic blooms of white and pink with slender leaves on a woody, gnarled branch, and covered in smooth matte glazes of "Apple" green, "Coral" pink, or, as in this stunning example, "Aqua" blue.

This large and dramatic pillow vase, with good mold and color, features realistic branch handles and an Art Deco-meets-Asian sensibility, and is in excellent condition, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with the loose crazing common to the glazes of this line.

Marked at the base with molded raised-relief "Roseville U.S.A. 390-12".

H 12.5", rim 5.5" x 3.25", base 4.75" x 4.25".
