Phoenix Glass Sculptured Artware Freesia Tumbler Vase, White, w/Label

When Kenneth Haley, who, with his father Reuben had created Consolidated's Martele' line of art glass in 1926, left Consolidated for the Phoenix Glass Company in 1928 he took with him 45 of the Consolidated Martele' molds, which were to become Phoenix's "Reuben Line", and the basis for their "Sculptured Artware" line of art glass. This expanded line of glass was in production by 1934, and featured new pieces and finishes.

This lovely Phoenix Sculptured Artware Freesia tumbler vase features graceful Freesia blooms on slender stems, finished with a translucent white wash over sculptured satin crystal glass. It is in excellent condition, free from chipping, cracking or color loss, with age appropriate wear to the base.

Marked with the silver over black "Phoenix Sculptured Artware" label, dating this piece to 1933 - 1936.

H 8.25", W 6", base 3.5".
