Roseville Pottery Ixia Jardiniere #640-4, Yellow, Ca. 1937

Roseville's tranquil "Ixia", introduced in 1937, depicts a naturalistic motif of bell-shaped blooms highlighted with yellow and lavender, accented with slender tapering leaves and arcing stems on a smooth matte glazed ground.

Packing big style in a compact form, this elegantly proportioned little jardinière with low set handles and pedestal base features lovely mold and coloring, and is in pristine condition, free from chipping, cracking, crazing or restoration.

Marked at the base with die impressed "Roseville 640-4".

H 4.5", W 5", rim 4.5", base 2.25".
