Roseville Pottery Wincraft Flower Pot #256-5, Azure Blue, Ca. 1948

Roseville's Wincraft, a sleek late period line, was named for Robert Windisch, the pottery's President at the time of introduction. Introduced in 1948, Wincraft utilized several shapes from previous Roseville lines and featured a variety of floral motifs under a glossy glaze of Apricot, Chartreuse, or in this instance, gorgeous Azure Blue.

This lovely Wincraft flower pot, with a floral design resembling stalks of Goldenrod, is in superb condition, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with the minor crazing typical of this line. The interior appears unused.

Marked with molded, raised-relief "Roseville U.S.A. 256-5".

H 5.25", rim 6.25", base 4.75".
