This exquisite Arts & Crafts or Jugendstil sterling silver serving dish was made by Bachruch A. Succ. - probably in the early part of the 20th c. It has elements of Jugendstil, Art Deco, and Arts & Crafts, with its hand hammered work, geometric shape (with a single very stylish scallop in the center of each side), and Austro-Hungarian quality. Would make a great centerpiece on any table. It's mark (woman's head in clover, with a 1) indicates that it dates to anywhere from 1866 to 1937. It is signed Bachruch A. Succ., and there's a number 5 on the bottom. It measures: 8 1/2" X 7 1/4", and 1 9/10" high. It weighs 520 grams and is in very good condition (needs a good cleaning). There are some scuff marks and some staining, but no dents or any structural damage. Absolutely beautiful, high quality piece.
