Circa 1860 - 1880. An absolutely stunning mirror, it has a grand presence when viewed from across the room. It is made of bronze with a polished bronze finish on the front frame.
The detailing is exceptional with a grand cartouche at the top center of the mirror frame which is flanked at the bottom by two angel wings. Roses and leaves surround the frame. At the sides are two angel profiles, at the bottom a large detailed scallop shell. The mirror is original and is beveled. No chips or cracks in the mirror.
The mirror measures: 22" high (measured at the cartouche) and 13 1/2" wide, 10 1/2 wide when measured at the feet. Standing depth is 15".
The entire mirror is in excellent condition.
