Two delightful cherubs with angelic expressions hold a beautiful bouquet of tiny white and lilac flowers. The detail of this piece is absolutely exquisite. One can count the fingers and toes of the little cherubs; the details of their faces are superb. The colors are rich and vibrant, especially the fuschia buds and flower centers. The flower petals appear to be individually put into place. Inside the bowl of the vase is a painted bouquet of roses. It is one of the most beautiful and charming porcelain vases that we have ever come across. It is in very good condition with the exception of a tiny chip off of a small flower petal (pictured). It measures: 4 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide (at base) and 2 1/2" wide (at top). It holds an Austrian mark and dates from the very late 19th century.
