This so lovely Art Deco cocktail bracelet, circa 1925, is made of 935 silver (higher quality than sterling 925) and sparkling pastes. It is signed but so far I have been unable to identify the maker. However 935 quality of this era is nearly always German. It is certainly in the fine tradition of the makers from Pforzheim.
The bracelet is 7" (17.8cms) long and ¼" (7cms) wide. It weighs 12 grams.
It has fifteen paste studded open links. They are joined by baguette pastes which are partially open backed to reflect the light. It has a push in clasp which holds well and is opened by squeezing the prongs on either side. There is also a safety clip.
The back is smoothly finished. It is marked `935' with a maker's mark which looks a bit like a bird and `M'.
This really dainty yet eye catching bracelet is in fine vintage condition.Thee are slight signs of age on a couple of the baguettes but they still sparkle. It will arrive in a gift box.
