French Antique Repoussé Silver 'Bébé' Pin
This French silver `Bébé ` pin dates to circa 1880-1900. It is unmarked but tests to 800 quality silver.

This sweet pin measures 1 and 11/16" (2.8cms) wide and 7/16" (1cm) across the centre. It weighs 2 grams.
The pin, created in repoussé silver, has a swirling , ancanthus leaf surround in which we can see the beginnings of Art Nouveau style. In the centre is the French word `Bébé'.
On the back is a solid old style c clip, a little more protective of the pin than is usual.
This truly adorable pin is in great antique condition and highly collectable. It will arrive in a gift box.
