Vintage 1920's Celluloid Sparkle Flapper Bracelet
Circa 1920's celluloid sparkle bangle bracelet with sapphire blue and clear paste rhinestones. This is a "flapper" bracelet, slightly larger than the norm (2 15/16" interior diameter), and intended to be worn on the upper forearm. This particular piece features a wonderful and desirable art deco checkerboard pattern, with rectangular sections containing three rhinestones each. The blue stones are backed by dark blue under-paint, the white stones by silver. This detail adds to the overall "pizazz" factor on this spectacular bracelet. Rhinestones are bright and sparkly, with only one or two having darkened slightly with age. 5/8" wide bracelet is in excellent condition, with no missing stones. A remarkable example of Roaring 20's glamor!
