Antique Flow Blue Oval Platter Watteau Pattern

Back stamp is shown and dates this piece to circa 1909. This mark is pictured in Flow Blue by Jeffrey Snyder and noted as having an unidentified manufacturer

This antique platter has a beautiful dark cobalt color and has a scene in the center with a wide scrolled design border with smaller scenes on a 12 sided blank -

It is in good antique condition with several under the rim chips that are barely seen from the top of this platter. There is also a bit of discoloration and some use scratches. Even with these flaws this is a stunning piece of antique flow blue.

This antique flow blue platter measures 11 inches across on the longest dimension by 8 1/4 inches.

This lovely antique piece is one of several recently purchased from the estate of a collector of blue transfer ware and flow blue.
