Rare Early English Antique Partial China Tea Set With History

Family History Noted as follows ~

Part of English China Tea Set Given By Kiki's Great Great Great Grandmother Susannah Parmenter To Her Great Great Grandma Susannah Parmenter Johns On Her Wedding in 1832 -

The pattern is delightful and the colors bright.

In as found condition -

Consisting of in very good antique condition -

- Scalloped rim cake plate measuring 8 1/8 inches across. This piece has the only mark of what appears to be 118A in blue on the back. There are some flecks of kiln dust on this plate.

- 4 cups and saucers - cups measuring 2 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches across at the top and saucers 5 3/4 inches across. Two of these saucers have a small chip on the underside on the rim they sit on and another has some slight discoloration at the outer rim. One of these cups has a small chip at the base of the handle.

Also included with some flaws are -

- A second plate that has been broken into 2 pieces and reglued - A saucer that shows some discoloration all over and has a line of about 2 inches across the center - mostly visible from the underside - 3 cups - one of the size listed above with a line across the base - and 2 that are slightly larger measuring 2 5/8 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches across at the top. One of these has a small scrape in the glaze on the side and the other a small discolored spider on the bottom that is mainly see from the underside.

This Early English China appears to be a transfer design with hand painted accents. It appears on both the inside and outside of the cups and covers a major portion of the saucers and plates.

This Antique China Is Most Special And Rare - And Even More So With Its History Recorded.
