This antique Luneville bowl has many possibilities: it can hold fruit, punch, a large salad, or just be displayed in a blue and white collection. It is a large bowl, diameter is 11 ½" and height is 5 ¼", so there is room for a lot. The bowl is made by Keller and Guerin, under the Luneville mark. The pattern is name Violette. The condition of the bowl is remarkably good, there are may be one or two tiny scratches on the bottom, no other signs of use. The mark dates this bowl to around 1890.
