This antique Italian mirror was made in Parma, Italy. It has a unique upside down tear drop shape with rich carvings and great gilt. The patina is so great it looks like it is made of gold (sorry, it is not). It dates to the early 1900's, but has a mirror of a later date. The frame is wood and gesso with large C scrolls and garlands. Both the frame and mirror are in very good condition with only very small signs of wear. Measurements are: 43" x 28" x 2".
