This set came from the estate of a retired antiques dealer and has a lot of visual appeal. The bright blue and gold colors are very vivid. This set is just right for the master bedroom or guest bedroom. The set consists of a large bowl, a pitcher a soap dish a holder for brushes and a cup. I am not sure if the brush holder is for tooth brushes (they were invented in the end of the 18th century by a Brit named William Addis) or hair brushes or combs. It has holes in the bottom and a holder underneath. The soap dish has an insert to keep the soap dry. All the pieces have a few numbers underneath, some in gold and some in blue. It is not clear what the significance is. The condition of the set is as follows: The bowl has discoloration and 2 cracks in the bottom, as well as age related crazing throughout. There is a chip off the bottom edge of the soap dish cover. The rest of the set is in very good condition with no issues. Measurements are: Bowl is 15" in diameter and 5 ¼" high, pitcher is 9" tall by 5" in diameter, soap dish is 6" by 4 ¼" and 4" high, cup is 4 ¼' handle to rim and 3 ¼" tall, brush holder is 5 ½" tall by 3¼" diameter.
