Limoges Cabinet Plate: Amazone Egaree, Raynaud & Co
This Limoges plate is one of a set of three. It is made by Raynaud & Co. The other two also have horse themes. The plate depicts a black horse in gallop with a 19th century lady riding side saddle with a crop. Amazone egaree translates to amazon lost, so I guess that is the theme.
The plate is in excellent condition, it was always used as a cabinet plate and has not seen any real use. No chips, cracks or crazing. It measures 7 1/4".
