Ornate Small Silver Plate Covered Butter Dish
This ornate covered silver plate butter dish is one of a set. It has a scrolled handle and the edges are also decorated with leaves and foliage. The bottom is marked Borine Plate or something like it. Half of the word has been polished off. The dish is just the right size for a pat of butter on a holiday table. Condition is good with some minor plate loss and copper showing on the bottom of one of the dishes. No dings or dents. It measures 4 1/2" by 3 ¼" and is 2 ½" tall.
