Bronze Sculpture After Moreau, Dance of the Nymphs

This free flowing sculpture is inspired by the painting of Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, who painted the painting in the latter part of the 19th century. Corot was French painter who was part of the Barbizon movement. Moreau, who specialized in bronze sculptures, used this painting for one of his bronzes. This bronze is a good rendition: the girls' movements flow freely and the patination is nice. The base is bronze as well, without a marble plinth.

Measurements are: height is 16", base is 8" in diameter.
