Born in Auxerre, France Marc spent his youth in Switzerland before returning to France to study art and was inspired by early modernist artists. His work explores various geometric themes where he examines forms and shapes and their relation to central themes of balance and color. His paintings are complex and varied in texture. Marc was also proficient in the various forms of media: oil, watercolor, mixed media and collage. Numbers and words are also often found integrated within his compositions. His work is internationally collected and he has established auction sales with major auction houses in North America and Europe.
This untitled work measures 6 ½" by 9". The unique blond wood, frame within a frame covered in glass measures 15 ¼" by 17 ½" and serves to focus ones eye to the work.
