Jean-Eric Turquin (1950-) is a landscape painter from Provence. His typical landscapes are rural views of Provence. His rich and expressive palette captures the sun, smells and rich texture of the Provencal landscape.
The painting measures in its plein air frame 13 ½" by 16" and the canvas measures 6 ½ by 8 ½". The overall condition is excellent.
The work is signed on the lower left and the title is inscribed on the verso "The Cypresses".
