This is a wonderful miniature stool with sharply canted and heavily turned trumpet and ball legs ending in ball feet. The stool has a rectangular top with cut out ends, corners and side. The bottom edges are beveled. The top is inlaid with alternating bands of light, medium and dark wood in a rectangle. Inside the rectangle is an inlaid "K" with light and dark diamonds and quarter moons with a contrasting center around it.. The wood has a satiny finish . The top is a dense wood with a medium brown color. The legs have a copper tone. The stool is in good condition with desirable features. It is a little treasure with Pennsylvania origins. it dates to the 1700's. This item is on display at the Yellow Garage Antique Center in Mullica Hill NJ.
