2 Mary Frances Woods Dolls 13" Brave and 11" Little Squaw

These 2 dolls were hand made by Mary Frances Woods in the early part of the 20th Century prior to 1930 in Portland, Oregon. They have Crepe Paper faces with stick pin eyes. The 13" male doll has a cylinder body without feet. He has a partial Konstructo label on the base. He can stand by himself. He has wear to his wig and base. The 11" female has feet. She is in good condition and is not marked. They are striking portrait dolls and are sought after by collectors of dolls, folk art and Native American items.
