Here is an early French Fashion on a shapely firm kid body with no gussets and individual wire fingers. The doll is marked only with an incised "5" on the top of her head. The doll has pale bisque, soft painting, even blush and soft rose shaded mouth. She has a hair line down the back of her head and neck. It is shown in the 8th view. It does not show from the front or sides and the wig hides it in back. She has pierced ears and coral bead hoop earring that match her necklace and bracelets. Her body is the early type with one piece arms & legs. It is clean and in good condition. Her hands are nice without loss or damage. They are individually wired and are nicely shaped. She wears her original factory one piece camisole with pantaloons combination and her factory petticoat. Her vintage Gypsy costume has a blouse, vest, and skirt decorated with gold color metal "coins". It was stitched and pinned in place. I snipped some stitches to remove the costume. She has vintage black lace stockings & black oil cloth shoes. Her wig is auburn mohair in a braided upswept style over a cork pate. She is a handsome, early doll in spite of the hairline. Her price reflects her issue and is less than 1/2 of similar dolls.
