31" Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig Original Wig Costume Antique Boots

Here is a fine example of a large size Heinrich Handwerck doll with quality bisque & painting, molded painted brown brows, blue sleep eyes, original lid finish with full fur lashes, pierced ears, open mouth, lovely curly blond mohair wig, fully jointed body in original finish, lacy dress & under's and antique boots. Her head is free of rubs, chips or hairlines. It is incised on the back "Germany // Heinrich Handwerck // Simon Halbig // 6 1/2". She has an incised "W (Wimpern mark)at the front top of her head. Her nice chunky body is stamped in red "Heinrich Handwerck 6 1/2" . It is in exceptional condition with original finish and very nice hands. There is paint retouch on the bottom edges of the upper legs. Her ivory lawn & lace dress and layered under's are quite wonderful. The dress has about 200 hundred narrow tucks on the bodice & sleeves, bands of insertion lace down the bodice, sleeves and at the dropped waist, lace ruffles over the shoulders down the bodice, lace at the neck hem and sleeve ends. The lawn full slip has a triple lace band at the hem. The combination camisole with button on pantaloons has a double band of lace at the bottom. Underneath is the original factory shift. She has old ivory childrens' stockings and shoes. The shoes are fragile and show wear. She carries a child's parasol. She is a wonderful doll in fine condition with a fabulous original curly blond mohair wig with pate and exquisite lacy layered lawn costume.
