Old Pale Pink Linen Cut Embroidered Edges Kate Greenaway Style Cap

Here is a lovely old linen Kate Greenaway style cap with wide brim and puffed crown. The brim has a scalloped, pierced and embroidered ruffle on the edge. There are 3 rows of welting around the inner brim. The crown is quite full and puffed out. The linen has a pale pink tint. There are a few areas of fabric loss. The cap still shows well and is an old one. It is about 9" around the inside edge the crown, 3 & 5/8" from brim edge to where it meets the crown and 3" deep at the crown. A wonderful cap for a smaller German character or a Gibson type lady.
