Victorian Brown Velvet & Glazed Leather Hi Tops Metallic Embroidery

This is a great pair of Victorian boots with scalloped side flaps, 7 double stitched button holes and 7 round brass shoe buttons on each shoe. The tops of the boots are deep brown velvet. The bottoms are dark brown glazed leather. The boots are stitched together in front with double seams bordered on each side by finely stitched oak leaf design and vine in thin metallic thread. The bottom part of the shoes are scalloped and held with double rows of stitching.. The shoes have some surface abrasions and wear. They are overall in good condition and show well. The flap closure and tops are faced inside with red leather. The boots are 6" long, 2 & 1/8" across the foot, 1.5" across the heel and are 5" tall. These are wonderful boots for an early doll or just to display. They work nicely with the wonderful and cream embroidered stockings that are listed separately.
