This 16" bisque head Flapper girl is from the establishment started by Carl Harmus Jr. in Sonneberg Germany. She is marked on the back of her head "Harmus // 4". This company also used the "Revalo" mark and this doll has a resemblance to that model. This very appealing doll has good quality bisque, blue blown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 upper teeth and tongue, remnants of fur upper lashes, long black painted lower lashes, original lid finish and wispy brown painted flyaway brows. She has a thinner more mature face than most dolly face girls and has a bit of the character look.. I note the right eye does not fully close when she sleeps. There are small paint misses on her cheeks as shown. Her head is free of hairlines or cracks. She is on a very nice flapper style body with typical wear at the joints. Hands are intact with no broken fingers. She wears her original factory flapper dress, combination slip and pants under garment and white leather slippers. Her original strawberry mohair wig is in a period bob. She has a head band ribbon. The clothes are in good condition. The ribbon has loss. She is an interesting and not often found model in a desirable cabinet size
