Antique Large Garnet Velvet French Fashion Lined Cape with Ruching
Here is a lovely old cape for a large French Fashion. The cape is made of Garnet colored velvet and is fully line with Garnet ribbed linen. . It has a petal shape edge with designs of white ribbon ruching. There is loss to the ribbon.. The cape opens down the front and fastens with hook & eye at the throat and bottom. It measures 9" from the neck to the petal bottoms. The neck is 14" around. The band has some wear and fading. The cloak is all hand stitched and is in sturdy condition as described.
