Chunky 16" Straight Wrist Wood Comp German Body Loose Balls

Here is a very nice early German Doll Body with straight wrists, cupped palms with molded together 3rd and 4th fingers and separated thumbs, index and little fingers. The legs are chunky with loose balls at the knees and hips. The body is 16" high with a 2" across neck well.. The edge of the neck has been reinforced with wood dough and the neck and top 1/3 of the torso have an old nicely done repaint. The lower arms appear to be repainted.. The rest of the body has the original worn finish. The balls and toes show wear.. Still this is a wonderful early body and is in over all good condition for it's age. These early bodies are very hard to find in good condition.
