This is the AM Googly that I love so dearly because of the hint of tongue sticking out between her closed lips. This little impish character comes on her original jointed composition body in pudgy proportions, straight wrists and fully marked "200 A 3/0 M / Germany / DRGM 243." Googlies began in 1911. She also comes in her original factory clothes and under things, wearing her original wig and pate, original red cotton knee socks but with replacement vintage two strap leather shoes. Her straw hat could be original as it is old. She doesn't mind that she lost a few buttons and I would suggest repositioning some of those present to fill in the gaps. Her cute mohair wig is sparse but cute with the one braid hanging down her back and bangs. She has original factory set stationary big brown glass eyes that are in the side-glancing position. There are only quick dashes of paint for her eyebrows, sort of wispy, but cute. Upper and lower painted lashes surround her googly eyes. This little girl came from the factory with a surface firing flaw in the form of a line leading from the right corner of her mouth upward to the right side of her nose just past the nostril. It has been there since her manufacture, guaranteed not to go anywhere as it has been fired in. It is only on the surface and does not go through the bisque as it does not show on the inside of her head. She seems to have repair to the fingers on her left hand but it's not a bad job. She is strung originally but will require restringing as her head wobbles slightly. I think this is a greatly undervalued Googly but I have given an even lower price due to the manufacturing flaw and repaired fingers. Great Googly at a great price!
