Rare All Wood 20 In. Antique French BJ Body for 24-25 In. Bebe

One of your early French Bebe heads would be appropriate to complete this rare all wooden 20 inch ball-jointed body. The body has straight wrists with large hands and separate balls although someone plastered and nailed the elbow and knee balls to the lower limbs arms and legs. I imagine it was done many years ago by someone who was not familiar with the separate ball-joints. This body came out of a very old doll collection I purchased about 15 years ago and the owner had collected dolls and doll parts for many years. The left arm has a crack on both sides that was taped years ago but the arm is structurally sound. The right arm also has a surface crack in the wood with a some chipped paint. This body is very heavy since it is completely made of wood. There are signs of wear on this body but it is still in good condition. Across the neck opening measures 1-7/8 inches.
