Antique Clothing Items for French Fashion Doll

This lot contains four pieces of cotton underclothing and a navy blue dress made of dark blue or navy silk satin which could be for a child fashion doll. The first two pieces are pantaloons and a long cotton day dress or it could be used as a slip. The construction and details are magnificent with tucks, cotton scalloped trim at the sleeve edges and along the bottom edge of the dress. The long pantaloons also have tucks and cotton trim with scallops. The back of the dress has a panel of tucks and lace. There are tiny white buttons and buttonholes for closure down the back. The total length of the dress is 13 in.; waist is 8 in.; across back of shoulders 4.5 in.; sleeve opening 3-1/2 in. The pantaloons are 10 in. in length; the waist is 6 in. but there is a tuck on each side which, when released, would make the waist approximately 8 in. The second set is a camisole or half top slip and pantaloons. The camisole is 8 in. in length; across the back of the shoulders is 4-3/4 in. The 5th item is a beautiful child-like fashion dress made of silk satin in a drop waist style with a flare at the bottom of the skirt. The bodice has stitched pleats at the neckline and tiny delicate lace trim around the neck. There is a pocket on one side with an ecru handkerchief inside. The skirt and pocket both have a tiny ecru trim. The back opening has old hooks and thread loops for closure. This dress is approximately 12 inches in length; 5-1/2 in. across the back; 5 in. neck opening and 3-1/2 in. sleeve opening. There is a small tear on the top of the right sleeve but hardly noticeable and can be easily mended. These items came in a trunk that I have in my shop (added today) and I believe they are all for a 17-19 inch fashion doll.
