UFDC 2000 Chicago National Convention Souvenir Doll, Father Time

The UFDC 51st National Convention, "Fin du Millenaire" was held in Chicago in 2000. Appropriately, the souvenir doll was a doll called "Marcus" as Father Time. He was created by doll artist Susan Dunham and was produced by Sterling Molds. Marcus has a porcelain head and lower limbs with a cloth body and upper limbs. The face of Father Time was also porcelain and was cleverly made to fit over the face of Marcus. The doll is approximately 14 inches tall. He has his accessories and is in his original box with the original tissue. Marcus as Father Time is a grand investment doll and like others in the UFDC souvenir category, will increase in value with time. The Jan Foulke series of price guides contains a section under "UFDC" that lists souvenir dolls from the National and Regional Conventions and their values. The dolls are all limited editions and were distributed to convention attendees as souvenirs.
