1850's Covered Wagon China Shoulder Head Doll

20 Inch Covered Wagon China Shoulder Head Doll from the 1850's. She stands proudly with a very serene expression. The typical hairdo of the covered wagon is the center part and vertical curls covering the ears and close to the head. The very sloping shoulders are affixed to a vintage cloth body in good sturdy condition with flared hips and stitched joints at the hips. Her china lower arms and legs are probably replacements but it is hard to tell for certain. She has antique undergarments, 2 slips and pantaloons. Her replacement clothing is beautiful, specifically a light moss green two piece ensemble with ecru lace trim, most appropriate for her period, and is made of vintage fabrics and trim.
