Antique German Armand Marseille Bye Lo Baby doll in original sleeping envelope

So adorable and precious, Armand Marseille's Grace Storey Putnam Bye-Lo baby doll is in excellent condition with a perfect bisque flange-neck head, incised "Germany Kiddiejoy. He has a lovable infant face: barely-there brows over hand-painted lashes surrounding tiny blue spiral glass sleeping eyes, which have a very sweet gaze! The wide flat baby nose and closed pouty mouth are sensitively modeled. Baby has cotton christening gown, white pique blouse and bonnet with lace edged. This is actually a hand puppet masquerading as a baby in bunting. Details include a perfect bisque head and celluloid hands - put your hand in the back of the bunting and you are able to manipulate the baby's head! Great displayed in a crib in your doll room or baby display. The doll has an original sleeping envelope, that measures 2 1/4" long and 2 7/8" tall. Measures of the envelope: 10" (25 cm) x 7 and 1/2' (19 cm).
