Early 19th c. American Federal / Classical Boston Mahogany Foot Stool 1820

A fine and rare Boston classical footstool dating from 1820. Highly figured mahogany and deeply reeded and turned legs. A beautiful example in great period condition - retains original glue blocks. Measures 12.5" x 8.5" x 9.5" tall. Beautifully upholstered in cut velvet with nail head trim.
