Victorian Gold Filled Cameo Necklace
Lovely Victorian gold filled necklace with hardstone cameo pendant center. The entire length of the necklace measures 18 1/2" X 1/8". The middle cameo pendant is 1 1/4" X 1 5/8". Originally the necklace would have opened from a push pin catch that attached to one side of the cameo pendant. At some point this was altered, and the push pin catch was soldered in place, and a spring ring closure was added to the back. The necklace still gives the same look and affect, it is just easier to put on. There are two small solder marks on the back of the center pendant. These do not affect the overall look of the necklace as you can see from the pictures. Total weight is 22.1 grams.
