1936 Garden Flowers In Color 469 Colored Illustrations

Garden Flowers In Color by G. A. Stevens, published by The Macmillan Company, New York, 1936. This 320 page book is called A Picture Cyclopedia of Flowers. The 320 page book still has it's original colorful dust cover, which has just about seen it's last days. The red hard cover 9 1/4" X 6 1/4" X1" book is all intact, still tightly bound, and has 469 beautiful colored illustrations of every important flower and shrub likely to be grown in American gardens at this time with a brief description of each. Inside the front cover is the name of the original owner, Mrs. Edward L. Jenssen,Stanton's Lane, West Mystic, Connecticut. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
