Edwardian 25th Anniversary MOP Sterling Silver Umbrella Handle
Great Edwardian sterling silver and mother of pearl handle from an umbrella. This was a 25th wedding anniversary present to E.
D .E. Noma. The handle is 11 1/2" long and is marked sterling on the silver above the 2 " long beautiful MOP and on the silver below the MOP. The 1 3/4" round sterling silver handle is engraved E. D. E. Noma, 1914, 25th Anniversary and is in excellent vintage condition with no damage to the MOP, and only a few very light surfaces scratches to the silver. On the metal end that the umbrella would stick in there is PAT AP-LD for and the initials N R W in a scroll cartouche with a little fleur d lis at each end.

This could easily have an umbrella put back on the handle and would make a wonderful gift for that special person in your life who has everything. I did not polish it but it would really shine if you preferred the shinny look.
