Gorham Silver Plated Footed Fancy Dish
This is a lovely footed silver plated dish that almost looks like a handled shell. The dish is 5 " from the top of the handle to the end of the shell and 3 3/4" from side to side, sits on top of three round ball feet and is approximately 1 1/4" tall. It weighs 81.1 grams and is marked with the anchor for Birmingham--Gorham Co.--060--SILVERS, and there is another hallmark that looks like a lions head with full hair. In excellent vintage condition with only a few light surface scratches, and at the end of the handle one end seems to be turned under while the other isn't, or maybe that's the way it's suppose to be.
