Pristine Signed Elizabeth Taylor for Avon Necklace in original box with sleeve, purple bag & original Signature Gold Coast Leaflet having been stored in original boxes since delivery in 1994.

Avon jewelry authority and author Sandra Sturdivant, in her book "Identifying AVON JEWELRY", describes it this way, "inspired by the antique coins Elizabeth collects, these artfully linked hammered medallions are plated with 22 k gold and inscribed with an "E" in a lovely script selected by Elizabeth herself."

From the fabulous Elizabeth Taylor (for Avon), the "SIGNATURE GOLD COAST NECKLACE" was inspired by her beloved antique coin collection. The heavy necklace is in mint condition in the original box with the famous purple drawstring bag and the original Signature Gold Coast Collection Leaflet.

This necklace is adjustable and measures from 16" to 18 ½" with an adjustable chain and is inscribed on the back of the large medallion "Elizabeth Taylor" Avon" with the signature "E" that she herself chose. These medallions are "replicas of antique coins - gold doubloons - that she collects. This necklace is new and has never been worn.

The clip earrings measures approximately 1 1/4" by 1 1/2". As with the necklace, the clip earrings are inscribed on the back with "Elizabeth Taylor" & "Avon".

Elizabeth Taylor Collection: Beautiful Oscar winning actress and jewelry collector, Elizabeth Taylor began to design costume jewelry for AVON in the early 1990s. Many of these pieces were designed upon the real pieces of jewelry from her enormous collection – one of the largest and most valuable, privately-owned collections in the world.
