This collection is the supreme high end fashion costume jewelry designed for important "red carpet" type of functions i.e. red carpet, expensive black tie dinner functions, eating at the White House or for any time appearing where you want people to see the "fine" jewelry" that Elizabeth Taylor loved so much. And still, this collection can be worn for everyday activities. She collaborated with Avon to create a high end jewelry line at prices more women could afford. Anything with Elizabeth Taylor's name is indeed high fashion. Elizabeth Taylor created high end fashion pieces that were sure to please and this is no exception. And as with all of her designs for Avon, Ms Taylor spared no detail which helped Avon join the ranks of famous designers and producers of high end jewelry.

This GORGEOUS "Egyptian Style Collection" Ring features the wonderfully carved details of the most regal winged Falcon with open wings surrounding a teardrop heart marvelously faceted faux amethyst glass stone which is surrounded by faux turquoise stones! The ring band and frame are set in gold-tone overlaid with 22k gold. The carved detail is amazing...from the falcon's face to the many feathers on the wings! And this amazing ring was signed with Elizabeth Taylor's signature mark "E" on the inside of the band along with her name "Elizabeth Taylor" going over the top of the "E" and "Avon" going under the bottom of the "E". The "E" was written in beautiful script that she had chosen herself.

This beautiful ring is approximately a size 7-8. It is pre-owned and was probably worn once or twice, but I could find no wear. It is in excellent as new condition and is a very nice ring to add to your collection of Elizabeth Taylor designer, signed high end jewelry line...and these are everything about high end! "A woman so brilliant, so beautiful, she was adored by the two most powerful men of her time. And when Cleopatra's story was brought to the screen, the role was written for Elizabeth Taylor. The opulent jewelry she wore in the film was the inspiration for these intricately crafted works.
