Vintage Decorative Gilded Wooden Jewelry Dresser or Vanity Box

The box measures 8 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep x 2 1/2" tall. The interior is divided into two compartments. There is a glass base to these compartments. The exterior of the box is trimmed with dainty decorative wooded moldings. Both the interior and exterior are gilded.

Protected by glass, the lid of the box is decorated with a lovely sepia print of a "Gathering in a Garden". It is very cheerful and elegant with a delightfully French feel to it.

This lovely box carries a wonderful air of "faded grandeur" about it. Both beautiful and practical, it would enhance the decor of the boudoir, dressing table or salon. Delightful.
