Made in Chicago circa 1940, Automatic Electric Company model AE40. Rebuilt and looking like new with a modular cord added so you can plug it in to any telephone company jack (not cable). Brass bell internal ringer that can be clearly heard. Porcelain dial with clear numerals, and the dial is timed properly so it is ready for another 70 years service.
