This 1890s porcelain pin is set in a brass backing. It features a transfer print of lovely woman with hand applied gold paint and simulated turquoise jewels. Fastens with “C” catch. Measures 1 1/4” in diameter. No markings indicating the origin. Condition is excellent for this type of Victorian jewelry. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 14.
