This antique brooch is made of Victorian filigree stampings dating to the late 1800s. The bulk of the filigree is silver plated with the outer leaves being a brassy color. The stones are old style flat backs in a muted purple hue with a slag glass center beautifully embellished with flower "carving." Closes with an old "C" clasp indicative of the period in which it was made. Measures 3 3/8" across. It is in very good condition considering its age. A true collector's piece for those who love authentic Victorian jewelry.
