This impressive vintage Victorian revival necklace incorporates black glass domed components with black crystals and seed beads to simulate mourning jewelry styles made of jet in the mid-1800s. Marked Vendôme on the hook and also has the brand's signature fleur de lis dangling from the closure tail. Adjusts up to 16 1/2" long; longest dangle is 3 ¼". Condition is excellent - looks as if it's never been worn. This piece was photographed for “ Warman’s Costume Jewelry ” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) and it appears on p. 117.
