This antique pin dates to the 1890s making it a true Victorian piece. It features a miniature shell carving of a Victorian woman's silhouette under a tree s – likely a depiction of "Rebecca at the Well." It is set in a brass-tone metal. Measures just over ¾" long. Condition is excellent. This piece appears in “Warman’s Costume Jewelry” by Pamela Y. Wiggins (Krause, 2014) on p. 15.
