This remarkable demi-parure features Gripoix style flawed amethyst glass cabochons bezel set in the center of each piece. They are surrounded by simulated pearls, green opaque stones and clear unfoiled stones on both the brooch and the earrings. The brooch, which can be worn as a pendant using the built-in hook, also has a row of foiled oval clear stones and purple cabochon navettes. These pieces are not marked, but have the well known Schreiner attributes of crimped settings, inverted rhinestones, and donut hole clip backs on the earrings. Brooch is 2 3/8" in diameter; earrings are 1 1/8" across. Condition is excellent with all stones appearing to be original and only minimal wear to the gold-tone plating consistent with Schreiner jewelry from the 1950s.
