This wonderful vintage mask brooch is a heavy cast silver plated piece encrusted with glittering clear rhinestones. The turban, embellished with a light blue stone, is partially oxidized to make it look two-tone in color with areas of darker metal. This one is not marked, but brings to mind Reinad's face pins which also have pierced mouths and eyes although the metal work on this one is thicker. Measures 2 1/4" tall. Likely dates to the late-1940s or early '50s. The silver plating is in excellent condition and there are no missing stones.
